Samsung SMX-F50BN Camcorder Review

Image-acquire has reviewed the Samsung SMX-F50BN camcorder. It is an affordable video recorder that features up to 65X zoom lens, a 1/6-inch CCD sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD display, an SD/SDHC card slot and captures 720 x 480 video at 60i. This portable camcorder also supports SD and SDHC memory cards, a digital image stabilization, a 1.9-megapixel still photo capability and a time lapse recording capability. Here is the conclusion:

While you’ll get some great stuff here, like a good long zoom and support for background music, you’ll also get some unpleasant aspects like a lack of memory to save your functions (so you’ll need to reset them frequently), and digital as opposed to optical image stabilization. Most all the good in this camcorder is counterbalanced by something a lot less pleasant about it, so take that for what it’s worth. If you’re looking for a quality system then you’re not going to find it here. But if your budget is the biggest concern, then you’ll have one more reason to love this, and that’s the price.

The Samsung SMX-F50BN camcorder is priced at only $129 on Amazon. Each purchase comes bundled with the Intelli-Studio 2.0 editing software. [Image-acquire]
