Canon has announced a new lens for its EOS system namely the EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM. The lens features an intelligent optical Image Stabilizer, a new stepper motor (STM) and electromagnetic diaphragms for smooth and accurate control over aperture for video shooting. The company will release the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM later this month for $549 a pop. [Dpreview]
